the Help

I just finished Help and let me tell you, it was pretty darn good. It let you into the minds and hearts of the women of Jackson Mississippi and the women who waited on them. During a time of great hurt and great hope for change a story blooms that makes you realize the relationships that we forge may not always be allowed but are always for the best. "Skeeter wants change in a bubble that refuses to change in a world that does" She enlists the help of Aibaleen and Minny to write a book about how a colored maid feels working for a white family during a time where colored people were just starting to be integrated. Its a book of love, hope,dedication. If you want an outlook on something you may not understand, this is a book to do that. It takes you on a path of discovery. Loved it. would read it agian!
