Hey all,
Long time no blog. Things have been crazy lately but great. Its the summer for country! I already have tickets to see Tim Mcgraw in 2 weeks! Cowboy boots already in possession. Tickets for Country Fest in July... its going to be such a fun summer!
There have been so many changes this year so far and its been hectic but such a blessing. I got a raise at work which means more responsibility but im ready for the challange! We have also been trying for little ones and will see what happens. Only time will tell.
But for now, I am enjoying life with Jarrod, living it to the fullest and just being myself!

update update update
So, Jarrod and I have been married for almost 3 years now and I must say that married life is great! He is in school getting his masters and doing great! We are so in love and its a great life! We had pictures taken recently because my younger brother joined the army and went to boot camp. we are so proud that he is serving this great country. Love my life and my family so much! I dont know what i would do without them. Jarrod is my best freind and the best thing that has ever happened to me:o)

Nooky nook
So, I have one of the best freinds ever! He gave me over 1,ooo e books for my nook and now I have enough books to last me... well... a while. Ive downloaded about 20 of them on to my nook as well as a few new ones. I actually have a reading list for 2011 and will share it with you as soon as im done compiling. Its a work in progress and will be a masterpiece when finished.
At the moment I am reading THE BELL JAR by; Sylvia Plath and I must say that even thought its a short book, a mere 170 pages...its worth the read; it shows you the relationship that a struggling women has with her future... does she persue her academic future and walk away from what she should become...or not. It rips her apart as she realizes that her life is a series of events that even she cant control.... it showcases the relationship that she has with a man and the relationship she has with her self. Its a harrowing journey and def worth the time to read. I am about half way throught and I must say that it brings up valid points of the independence of women.
Do men purely think of women as the rugs they walk upon. Once they have marriage and children they turn into putty with no serious thought? Esther wonders if she should even get married because it will take away everything she has worked for until she realizes that she doesnt know what shes working toward.
It makes you take a look into your own and life and determine if you are living to your potential and really doing what you have set out to do.

zooo!!!
I havent been to the zoo in about 14 years and got to go yesterday! Our freind Tom got us tickets and we went with him and our freind Richard. It was so much fun and we got to see so many things...
The polar bear pooping was the funniest but we got to see everything but the Pandas because the line was so long. I am going to be putting up some pictures so you can see the fun we had!
Merry Holidays!
Hello All! Christmas was so much fun this year. We went to my parents this year for christmas eve like every year. We all do a white elephant and its a blast to see who gets what. This year I got some black licorice and a huge gummy bear....lol:) i think the chicken dance elmo was a big hit as was the camo snuggi. All the kids got alot of toys and got a visit from santa....
Christmas morning we spend with Jarrods family and do a more traditional christmas morning with a gift exchange. It was so much fun to see everyone and to have the bbq and the gifts, Jarrods grandma was in from Austin and was so great to see her too! I got a gift card and a wii game that i wanted from Jesse. It was a great holiday this year and I cant wait for next year!
I cannot wait until we have kids so that they can be a part of these traditions
new years resolutions
Happy New Year everyone. Its been a while:) So, its 2011 and this year ive decided to not have any resolutions... I feel that if you feel the need to change you should do it automatically and not for any other reason then bettering yourself.
I have wanted to start writing again and Ive been wondering why I ever stopped. I love doing it. I have still been reading like s crazy as always... been reading a series thats about 9 books long... its about vampires and so far I really like it... its some light reading and nothing to in depth but sometimes you just need to read something that lets you escape. I have also been reading and studying the scriptures alot and really figuring out where I stand and whats going on with my life. I feel most at peace when I read and really figure out who I am.
I have a few books in my list that im starting soon.... and I still love my nook. I dont know what i ever did without it. I carry it everywhere I go.
