While describing to you in great detail the way things were back then it invites you into the lives of the people who live it. Its glamerous and mysterious... it breaks your heart and it makes you love the passion and compassion that people feel toward each other. It shows you the test of true freindship and of true love. With another person and with yourself. I was reccommended this book and let me tell you something... i could not put it down....:)
